Mindfulness Based Emotional Intelligence (MBE)
The MBE program consists of 6 clinics of 2.5 hours, which are structured using brain science, interaction, meditation, breath work, journaling, and other exercises.
The training was developed by Bridgeman based on Google's Search Inside Yourself program, and is accredited by the Dutch Association for Mindfulness (VVM).
Research shows that for jobs of all kinds, emotional intelligence is twice as important an ingredient of outstanding performance as cognitive ability and technical skill combined.

In the MBE training, participants will learn:
- Emotional intelligence
How to develop emotional intelligence skills, like self-awareness, self-management, motivation, empathy/compassion, and social skills. Important skills for the leaders of the future.
- Mindfulness application
To apply mindfulness techniques such as mindfulness-, concentration-, compassion/empathy-, and movement meditation, and how to deal with obstacles that one will encounter along the way.
- Scientific basis
The theory and functioning of the brain and the effects and benefits of meditation from scientific studies. In addition, links are made between mindfulness meditation and its benefits on the development of emotional intelligence.
By going through this program, participants unlock their potential and are more able to live life to the fullest.
Participants will experience:
- An increase in self-confidence
- A decrease in fears and insecurities
- An increase in their ability to deal with stress
- More relaxation and peace of mind. Less grinding thoughts
- A decrease in feelings of depression
- An increase in their ability to deal with thoughts and emotions
- More empathy, and better interaction with others
- More intensity in life and more feeling
- An increase in concentration and focus
- Enhanced personal power and being more authentic
- Improved overall health and well-being
- A desire to live more consciously and healthier
- An increase in their ability to let go and learn to accept
- To be more creative
Typically, the 6 clinics are scheduled over a period of 2 to 3 months.
The training can be delivered physically on location or online, or a combination of the two. In English or in Dutch.
Group size is ideally between 10 to 16 participants. Multiple parallel groups are an option.
It is possible to adapt the training program to fit your organization's needs and possibilities.
An Introduction clinic can be organized prior to the training to inform employees and recruit participants.
